ACT! 2010 features a context sensitive menu structure down the Left hand Side of the program. This menu can be collapsed in order to gain more horizontal space by using the Double Arrow which can be found at the top Right Hand Side of the menu (Fig1)

You can also re-size the menu by dragging the thin grey bar between the menu and contact record screen from side to side.
