Duplicating a Contact
In many cases we will have more than one contact working for the same company. A prime example of this is if we are operating a multi user version of ACT! and we are entering the users of the database. Each contact will have the same Company Name, Address, Phone, Website and other duplicate values.
Rather than the time consuming process of entering all the same data several times over we can use the “Duplicate Contact” option (Fig 1).
This allows us to create a new contact record without having to enter the relevant data again.
